Week #6 - LibraryThing

LibraryThing is a cool tool to keep track of what I have read or what I want read in the future. Armed with a list of books that I'll get around to reading, maybe eventually, one day, I will...although lately I haven't been doing much leisurely reading.

Also a good place to read recommendations and reviews from other members.

Here's my LibraryThing library link:

Week #5 - del.icio.us - Social Bookmarking Tool

Del.icio.us is a great tool for saving bookmarks which can then be accessed from any computer with any browser anywhere in the world. I can see it being useful for sharing bookmarks with friends and colleagues as well as for tracking areas of interest and networking with other users. I like that one can easily discover web pages of interesting content and that the most popular bookmarks for any given tag can be seen. A good feature is that the user can choose to have their bookmarks made public (the default) or they can set them as private. I think del.icio.us is a pretty good tool!

Week #4 - Flickr Photo Sharing

Flickr is great for storing, sorting, seeking and sharing photos online. I like the fact that one can share photos with the entire Flickr community, or securely and privately share them with Flickr users who are friends and family only.

Week #3 - WIKIS

Wikis are a great aid when working on group projects. They offer a one stop place to edit and share information. I enjoyed this assignment and look forward to the next one!

I used to make these cookies at Christmas time using a similar recipe. I'll be testing this recipe out in the near future!
